About Sanjay:

Sanjay was born in 2018 and is studying in the Government Primary School local to their village. His favourite subject is science and he wants to be an doctor. He lives in a roofed house with his father, mother, two elder brothers and an elder sister. Sanjay's family are part of the tribal community  and live on the outskirts of the village of Malaiyangulam. The tribal community are some of the most marginalised people in India.

Sponsor Sanjay:

Sponsoring Sanjay will help to ensure that they and their siblings attend school regularly. They will have access to extra-curricular after-school classes with a specially appointed teacher, to help them with their homework, explore their creativity, and study English.

Our partners at CARE Foundation will help the family in their daily life and monitor the children’s progress. The family will be provided with hygiene equipment and will be included in SOTE awareness programmes.

Sanjay will receive school equipment and uniform, and their birthday will be celebrated each year along with other children in their community.
